Absolutely! In fact, I would question the idea of a 'natural networker.’

Some people are naturally social, but networking is not the same thing as being outgoing.

The skills that matter most can be learned:

• asking thoughtful questions,
• listening carefully,
• remembering what matters to people
• and making useful connections.

You do not have to become the loudest person in the room.

You need to become someone who pays attention.

A quiet professional who understands ten people deeply can be far more valuable than the person who works the entire room and remembers almost nothing about anyone the next morning.
