What does good networking actually look like? Good networking looks surprisingly ordinary. It's not a room full of handshakes or a stack of business cards.
It's knowing the right people well enough that when a need arises, you can confidently make a connection.
The test is not how many people know your name. The test is whether you understand what they do, whom they serve, and whether you'd put a valued client in their hands. Good networking creates useful relationships before anybody needs anything. This is why the best networks often look quiet from the outside. The activity's not the relationship, the trust underneath it is.
